The amaran 150c and 300c are Amaran's first full-color point-source LED lights, with RGBWW full-color control, optical and soft light Bowens Mount versatility, and integrated controls. These fixtures use the same RGBWW technology as the Aputure LS 600c Pro, which provides a bi-color CCT range of 2,500K to 7,500K with green-magenta adjustment and 360° HSI color control with >90% coverage of the Rec.2020 Color Space. Both fixtures have an etched-glass optical element in front of their LED chips, allowing for optimal compatibility with Bowens Mount optical modifiers.

The amaran 150c and 300c can be powered via their 48V DC XLR power inputs at the rear of the lamp head, and users may purchase the Aputure 2-Bay Battery Power Station separately to power these fixtures off Gold or V-Mount batteries over a 3-Pin XLR cable. The fixtures also have a redesigned high-efficiency heat sink and silent active cooling system to minimize fan noise. The amaran 150c outputs a maximum of 150W, while the 300c outputs a maximum of 300W, with both fixtures having a high CRI/TLCI [95+] and SSI (D56) [71] and SSI (Tungsten) [83] scores.

Another key difference between the two lights is their lux output. The Amaran 300c is capable of producing up to 26,580 lux at 1m with a hyper reflector at 5,600K, while the 150c can produce up to 15,610 lux at the same distance and temperature. This difference in output is particularly noticeable for cinematographers shooting in low-light environments or when trying to light a large space.

Both lights come with 9 system FX, including paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, and fire, allowing videographers and video professionals to add creative lighting effects to their productions.

Spotlight SE

The Spotlight SE is a versatile projection lens that enables videographers and cinematographers to transform their Bowens mount point-source fixtures into spotlight projectors. This compact and lightweight lens comes in two options: a 19º lens and a 36º lens, both of which provide customizable lighting options for different scenarios. The 19º lens produces a narrow and bright light circle, whereas the 36º lens provides a wider beam spread for larger areas.

The Spotlight SE features internal shutters that allow videographers to shape the beam for optimal lighting control. Moreover, it comes with 15 M-Size Gobo inserts, which add to the lens's versatility by allowing for unique light projection shapes. For even more precise control, the M-Size 18-Leaf Iris accessory can be used in combination with the shutters and gobos.

The Spotlight SE has custom precision optics that enable quick focus adjustments, resulting in even edge-to-edge light distribution. Additionally, its durable all-metal construction ensures that it can withstand regular use and the rigors of on-location shoots. The 18-leaf iris accessory is sold separately, and the lens is compatible with Bowens mount point-source fixtures up to 300W.

Light Dome Mini SE

Along with the Amaran 150C and 300C LED lights and the Spotlight SE, Aputure has also released the Light Dome Mini SE, which is their first Bowens Mount octabox soft light modifier. This new accessory is designed to work seamlessly with Amaran LED lights, transforming them into efficient and directional soft light sources. The Light Dome Mini SE features an 8-sided deep parabolic design with a highly reflective silver inner lining, making it a highly efficient soft light modifier. This design allows video professionals to achieve rounder reflections and eye lights compared to a square or rectangular design, making it ideal for portrait photography and videography.

One of the standout features of the Light Dome Mini SE is its lightweight and nimble design, making it easy to transport and set up on location, ideal for smaller video crews or individual videographers on the go. It comes in at only 0.73kg (1.61lbs) and includes a quick-release support rod system that makes it easy to assemble and disassemble. The eight support rods snap easily into place when deploying the softbox, and each support rod is quickly collapsible via quick-release latches located near the Bowens Mount speed ring.

The Light Dome Mini SE is also similar in size to but lighter than the Aputure Light Dome Mini II, measuring 58.0 x 34.0 x 21.5cm (22.8 x 13.4 x 8.5in) when built. This compact size allows it to be used effectively in confined spaces, and its lightweight design mitigates the necessity of heavy stands to support it.
